
Eqvitec invests SEK 26m into Voddler
Finnish venture investors has backed Voddler, a company which providing video on-demand service, with SEK 26m.
Founded in Stockholm in 2005, Voddler enables users to stream films and TV-shows via internet. It has approximately 400,000 registered users and recorded 1 million streamings in January.
The service will be introduced to the Norwegian, Danish and Finnish market in the first quarter of 2010.
Eqvitec invested from Eqvitec Technology Fund III, and will be represented on the board by partner Hadar Cars.
