EQT to sell Swedegas
EQT is planning to sell Swedish gas grid operator Swedegas for an enterprise value in excess of €500m (SEK 4.3bn), according to reports.
EQT has hired Swedish law firm Vinge as legal advisers and Morgan Stanley to advise on the sale, reports Reuters.
The GP wholly acquired Swedish energy gas transmission company Swedegas from EON Ruhrgas, Statoil, DONG Energy and Fortum, via its EQT Infrastructure Fund in December 2009. Nordea and Enskilda provided the debt package to support the transaction.
Based in Gothenburg, Swedegas owns and operates a high-pressure gas transmission network in Sweden.
EQT declined to comment.
