Unifeeder ships freight division to Blue Water

Montagu Private Equity's portfolio company, Unifeeder, has sold its freight forwarding division to Blue Water Shipping, a Danish freight solution company, for an undisclosed value.

Unifeeder's freight forwarding division transports mixed cargo on roads. The fleet consists of 20 chartered trucks with 10-15 others used on an ad-hoc basis. It has about 20 staff and reported a turnover of DKK 100m last year. The company had sales of roughly DKK 100m in the same period and has offices in Arhus, Copenhagen and Oslo. Montagu acquired Unifeeder in a competitive auction for an undisclosed value in July 2007 (July/August 2007, page 31).
