
Ratos-backed EuroMaint acquires Husqvarna division
Ratos portfolio company EuroMaint, a Swedish maintenance company, has signed a declaration of intent with Husqvarna to acquire the company's maintenance and tools operations.
EuroMaint operates through three subsidiaries: EuroMaint Rail, EuroMaint Industry and EuroMaint Tracksupport. By taking over Husqvarna's maintenance and tools operations, EuroMaint Industry aims to continue growth, especially among engineering companies. Ratos acquired EuroMaint in 2007.
Husqvarna is a Swedish provider of outdoor power products for forestry, park maintenance and lawn and garden care, as well as cutting equipment and diamond tools for the construction and stone industries.
