Apax Partners set to close Stockholm office
According to press reports, Apax Partners is to close its Stockholm office. Reports suggest the decision comes as Apax partner Lars Johansson, who heads the regional office in Sweden, has decided to open an M&A advisory firm.
Among Apax investments' in the Nordic region is the 2006 acquisition of Danish telecom business TDC A/S, together with KKR, Providence, Permira and Blackstone. The EUR1bn deal represents the largest Nordic LBO to date. A statement is expected in mid-April.
