
Saab Ventures takes stake in PortWise
Saab Ventures has invested in the identity and access management specialist PortWise and gained an 18.75% equity stake in the company. The transaction happened in conjunction with the industrial cooperation agreement between Saab and PortWise. Saab will integrate the PortWise product suite as a proprietary and integrated offer within its civil security offer.
Saab Ventures, the venture capital unit of Saab, invests in small and medium-sized enterprises that contribute to Saab's future strategic plan. Existing investors in PortWise include Scope, Verdane and DFJ Esprit. According to reports, the investors will provide significant expansion capital to potential target companies.
