Herkules completes restructuring of portfolio
Norwegian buyout house Herkules has, via Herkules Private Equity Fund II, taken over kitchen and interior products retailer, Tilbords, from Nordic Interior Group (NIG), itself a portfolio company in Herkules Private Equity Fund II. As part of the transaction, Herkules will complete a refinancing of Tilbords as well as provide additional equity.
Tilbords was acquired by Herkules-backed NIG in 2008, from the Kolderup family. The business has 115 outlets across Norway, and generated sales of NOK 200m in 2008.
