Riverside's Sage Holdings makes fourth acquisition
Riverside Company-backed international communications company, Sage Holdings, has acquired Capital Precision, a UK-based provider of capital markets intelligence. The deal is the fourth in a line of add-on acquisitions within the financial communications and stakeholder management sectors.
Earlier this year, Sage Holdings acquired Swedish corporate communications and web services firm Hallvarsson & Halvarson, in an all-equity deal (November/December 2008, page 36). Sage Holdings was founded in 2007 with private equity backing from The Riverside Company (Deutsche unquote", March 2008, page 36). The first acquisition was made in February 2008, when Sage bought M: Communications, followed by D.F. King & Co, a proxy solicitor company, in the same month.
