Veraventure leads USD 1m round for XIHA Life
Finnish public venture capital fund Veraventure has led a USD 1m investment round for multilingual social networking site XIHA Life
Business angels and the company's founder also participated in the funding round.
Based in California, Switzerland and Helsinki in Finland, the site caters to members in over 200 countries, with no country making up more than 5% of its member community.
The site allows users to share travel tips, upload photos, music, games and messages.
Former Google Product Manager and co-founder of Jaiku, Jyri Engeström, joins the board.
