Viking Venture invests NOK 22m in Skooler
Viking Venture has invested NOK 22m in Norwegian teaching tools software developer Skooler in return for a 41% stake in the company.
The investment was made alongside Roger Larsen, former CEO and founder of educational institution content management system Fronter; his contribution is included in the NOK 22m price tag.
Viking managing partner Erik Hagen said in a statement the VC had been attracted to Skooler's growth in its customer base and the international growth potential of the company.

Founded in 2014, Skooler is a software developer based in Moss.
The company builds teaching tools for the educational sector, which integrates into Microsoft Office 365. It employs a staff of 18.
