Seed Capital. Spar Nord invest DKK 5m in Ernit
Danish VC Seed Capital has taken part in a DKK 5m investment round in Copenhagen-based fintech startup Ernit, alongside Danish bank Spar Nord.
The investment will support the roll-out of Ernit's product, a cashless piggy bank with an accompanying app, across the Danish market.
In addition to a local launch, the fresh funding will also support scaling of the company outside of Denmark.
Prior to raising its first institutional funding from Seed Capital and Spar Nord, Ernit participated in the New York-based Techstars accelerator programme.

Ernit was founded in 2013 by Søren Nielsen, Thomas Bjerring and Mads Tagel.
