Spintop leads €1.4m seed round for Crosser
Spintop Ventures has led a тЌ1.4m seed funding round for Stockholm-based industrial software developer Crosser Technologies.
Swedish VC firm Almi Invest and Norwegian state-backed lender Norrlandsfonden also took part in the financing.
Almi is currently investing from its SEK 1.2bn government-backed fund, VC Almi Invest, which was announced in 2014.
The fresh capital will be used to expand the team and invest in sales and marketing.
Company
Founded in 2009, Crosser develops software for the management of industrial processes. It collects data from sensors or operational technology and uses it to analyse and intervene in production processes. One application of this software is in the forestry industry, where the software is used for supply and fleet management.
