Industrifonden leads series-A for DPOrganizer
Swedish evergreen VC Industrifonden has led a series-A funding round for Stockholm-based technology regulation company DPOrganizer.
Other backers in the round include Creades, Inbox Capital and Soläng Invest.
With the fresh capital, the tech firm intends to develop its products, and expand its operations to a global scale.
Company
Headquartered in Stockholm and founded in 2015, DPOrganizer creates data protection management software that helps companies around the globe manage their personal data processing and data protection activities.
According to the company, the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation, which comes into effect in May 2018, will create new responsibilities for businesses to handle personal data appropriately to meet new requirements.
