
Erhvervsinvest acquires Gasa Group
Denmark-focused small-cap GP Erhvervsinvest has acquired Gasa Group, an importer and exporter of flowers, fruits and vegetables.
Erhvervsinvest bought the company from Danish agricultural group DLG for an undisclosed amount.
Erhvervsinvest partner Thomas Marstrand told unquote" that the GP acquired a stake of 80% in the firm, with DLG retaining 20%.
Gasa will focus on organic growth, with no intention of making further acquisitions, and will continue to expand in eastern European markets, Marstrand added.

Founded in 1929 as a fruit, flowers and vegetable auction co-operative, Gasa is headquartered in Odense, Denmark.
The firm reported a 2016 turnover of DKK 2.4bn.
