
Intel, Investinor lead $12.5m series-B for Swarm64
Intel Capital and Investinor have led a $12.5m series-B funding round for Oslo- and Berlin-headquartered data processing technology firm Swarm64.
Previous investors Alliance Venture and Target Partners also took part in the round.
With new investor Intel Capital on board, Swarm64 intends to use the fresh capital to advance its technology, primarily by accelerating its database operations for customers.
Previous funding
Springfondet and several angel investors provided NOK 4.5m in seed funding for Swarm64 in August 2013.
In September 2015, Alliance, Target and Investinor invested €7.1m. The fresh capital enabled the company to launch its product and set up operations in the US market.
