Swedish buyout house Procuritas has acquired a majority stake in Danish auto maintenance services chain Byens Bilpleje.
The deal is the second acquisition made from the GP's sixth buyout fund, Procuritas Capital Investors VI.
With the fresh capital, Byens Bilpleje intends to become a European market leader in automotive cosmetic care, and paint and maintenance services. It will focus on organic growth, as well as acquisitions of existing car care companies in Denmark and internationally.

Procuritas Capital Investors VI held a final close on its €318m hard-cap in May 2017 after seven months on the road, according to Unquote Data.
The fund is domiciled in Sweden and follows the same investment strategy as its predecessors, focusing on mid-market businesses mainly based in the Nordic market.
