
Speedinvest leads €1.7m seed round for Kodit.io
Austrian venture capital firm Speedinvest has led a €1.7m seed funding round for Helsinki-based Kodit.io, an AI-powered real estate platform that offers selling services for homeowners.
Other backers in the round include Norwegian international media group Schibsted and Icebreaker.vc. The latter provided an initial angel round in September 2017.
With Speedinvest on board, the company is seeking to scale its operations across Europe and raise additional capital.

Established in 2017 and headquartered in Helsinki, Kodit.io is an online real estate services business that offers companies or private investors that use technology platforms to purchase homes from sellers in Europe. According to the company, it has seen around 80 properties purchased over the past eight months. Kodit.io currently operates in seven cities in Finland and Estonia, and is now looking for potential markets in southern and eastern Europe.
