
Bonnier, Frog lead €15m series-B round for Winningtemp
Swedish AI-driven employee engagement platform Winningtemp has raised €15.1m in a series-B funding round led by Stockholm-based Bonnier Ventures and London's Frog Capital.
The company will use the funding to expand internationally, specifically to the US. It has so far raised €18.5m in funding, according to Crunchbase.
The startup provides companies with real-time insights on employee behaviour and development, alongside predictions and recommendations for keeping employees engaged.
It said in a statement that it experienced a 300% increase in platform usage during the first three weeks of lockdown, and consistent growth over summer.
Previous funding
In 2016, Winningtemp raised €300,000 in seed funding from Swedish VCs Almi Invest and Chalmers Ventures, as well as private investor Marcus Backlund. A year later, it raised a further €91,000 in seed funding from Chalmers, Almi Invest and private investor Alexander Haas.
The company in 2019 closed a series-A round of €3.2m from Norrsken Foundation, Chalmers and Almi.

Founded in 2014 and based in Gothenburg, Winningtemp is an HR technology company. Its platform provides B2B engagement, performance management, social praise and e-learning to 600 clients in 20 countries. The company employs around 60 staff, according to its LinkedIn page.
