
MIG leads €39m series-A round for IQM
Finnish superconducting quantum computer developer IQM Quantum Computers has raised €39m in a series-A round led by MIG Fonds.
Tesi, OpenOcean, Maki.vc, Vito Ventures, Matadero QED, VSquared, Salvia, Santo Venture Capital and Tencent also joined this round.
The company, which has so far raised €71m, will use the latest proceeds to accelerate IQM's next phase of business and hardware growth. A significant part of the funding will also be used to hire more staff and to establish sales and business development teams.
Previous funding
In July 2019, IQM raised €11.4m in seed funding from Tesi, OpenOcean, Maki.vc, Vito Ventures, Matadero QED and MIG. In June this year, it raised €15m in equity from European Innovation Council Accelerator Programme.

Founded in 2018 and based in Espoo, IQM is a maker of quantum computers for research and supercomputing centres. The company has around 50 staff.
