Maki.vc leads €1.5m round for Finnish company Calqulate
Finnish venture capitla firm Maki.vc has led a тЌ1.5m funding round for Helsinki-based financial analytics provider Calqulate.
Other investors included 70V, River Venture Partners and business angels.
The startup will use the funding to expand into the US market by the end of Q1, and develop further financial models into its platform.
Calqulate, founded two years ago, currently employs 30 people across four locations and plans to expand its platform to businesses in other verticals, such as e-commerce and mobile gaming by mid-2021.

Launched in 2019 and headquartered in Helsinki, Calqulate has developed a financial analytics platform that helps startups and growth companies simplify and unify their current and future financial performance. It has additional offices in Paris, San Francisco and Vilnius, and employs 30 staff.
