Klar Partners buys Sandbäckens from Segulah
Klar Partners has acquired a majority stake in Swedish technical installation service Sandbäckens from Segulah.
The management of Sandbäckens will retain a minority ownership.
Segulah exits the company five years after acquiring it via its fifth fund, Segulah V.
The deal, which took place as a bilateral process, is the GP's second investment since it was established, and its first investment in Sweden. In 2020, it carved-out Empower IM from Empower.
The GP is currently investing from its first fund, but declined to comment on the fundraising.
Partner Fredrik Brynildsen told Unquote that Sandbäckens is "a strong platform active in a fragmented market" and that the GP wants to "to support the company with further consolidation".

Founded in 1993 and based in Linköping, Sandbäckens is provider of technical installations and service in the areas of heating and sanitation, comfort cooling, sprinklers and district heating. The company employs 800 staff across 30 locations and, in 2020, it generated sales of SEK 1.45bn.
