
Left Lane Capital leads €8.2m series A for Memmo.me
Memmo.me, a Swedish platform that allows users to request personalised video messages from celebrities, has raised €8.2m in a series-A funding round led by New York-based Left Lane Capital.
Private investors, including Delivery Hero co-founder Lukasz Gadowski, Depop CEO Maria Raga, Zillow Group co-founder Spencer Rascoff, former Groupon operations director Inbal Leshem, Voi co-founder Fredrik Hjelm, former Udemy CEO Dennis Yang and Wolt co-founder Elias Aalto, also took part in the round.
The company will use the proceeds to further expand globally and to strengthen its position in Europe.
The company said it had experienced "explosive growth since being founded just over one year ago" and now has a presence in the Nordic region, Canada, the UK and continental Europe.
