EQT Ventures backs Lenus with €50m series-A funding
EQT Ventures has led a €50m series-A funding round for Copenhagen-based startup Lenus, which helps health and fitness coaches build online businesses.
According to the GP and the company, the round is the largest series-A round ever secured by a startup in Denmark. The company also said that it had remained cashflow-neutral, and had sustained an average annual and organic growth rate of +200% year on year.
Lenus will use the funding for product development, recruitment and international expansion, starting by expanding to New York and Los Angeles in the autumn of 2021.
The funding will also be used for the development and launch of a non-profit certified online school to provide training for fitness coaches and dieticians.

Founded in October 2016 and based in Copenhagen, Lenus provides an online platform to health and fitness professionals to scale their businesses and reduce time spent on administrative tasks.
