
Investinor exits PingCom
Investinor has sold Ping Communications (PingCom), a Norwegian broadband internet access devices and software provider, back to the company's founder.
PingCom founder Erik Syverinsen acquired Investinor's shares in an MBO, through his holding vehicle Tiger Holding. Pricing and terms of this deal were not disclosed.
Investinor invested NOK 10m for a 26.3% share in PingCom in 2010. In total, PingCom received NOK 22m with additional contributions from co-investors Alliance Venture Polaris and Tiger Holding. PwC advised on the transaction.
Investinor invested an overall NOK 17.2m in the company for a 38% share across the holding period.
