Almi Invest et al. back PromoBucket spin-off
Almi Invest and 1:a Västmanlandsfonden have backed the spin-off of Swedish software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider PromoBucket from advertising agency Navii.
The VCs were impressed by the company's "passion to change the conservative marketing industry" and its potential to enter the global market, they said in a statement.
Almi and 1:a typically back regional early-stage companies by co-investing growth capital with other venture firms.

PromoBucket spun out Navii in 2012. The business is a customer-focused marketing asset management service operating in the SME segment. Its web-to-print software solution collects a company's brand assets and marketing materials in one place, allowing users to create, edit and order marketing materials from a central hub. The company is based in Västerås.
