
Vito Ventures and Inventure lead €1.5m series-A for Wirepas
Finnish VC Inventure has lead a €1.5m series-A for Finnish Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity company Wirepas, alongside German venture investor Vito Ventures.
With the fresh funding in hand, Wirepas will look to speed up growth through global expansion, increased research and development spending, and marketing.
The company's target is to have its products connect a billion devices before the end of 2022.
Previous funding
Wirepas first raised institutional funding in August 2015, when Inventure lead a €1.5m financing round for the company.

Founded in 2010, Wirepas is a developer of wireless connectivity products for IoT-enabled devices.
The company is headquartered in Tampere, with roots in the town's university of technology, and has offices in France and the US.
