WAM Acquisition succeeds in takeove
The Spanish Securities and Exchange Commission (CNMV) has announced that the acceptance of the takeover bid launched by Wam Acquisition SA for 550,598,411 class A shares in Amadeus Global Travel Distribution SA has reached 521,597,944. This represents 94.73% of shares targeted by the offer and 22.63% of the target company. Consequently, the takeover bid has had a positive outcome, since the number of shares contained in the acceptance declarations exceeds the minimum level set by the acquirer (428,796,291 class A shares, representing 18.61% of the target company's share capital) for the offer to be valid.
