Foro de Finanzas
Two Spanish professors have been awarded the prize for the best work at the eleventh Foro de Finanzas finance forum in Alicante on 13 and 14 November 2003, organised by the Spanish finance association AEFIN (Asociación Española de Finanzas). José Martà Pellón of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Marina Balboa Ramón of the Universidad de Alicante were acknowledged for their study entitled ‘Characterisation of the reputation of private equity managers: evidence in Spain’. The study examined the relationship between investors and private equity firms in the maturing Spanish market over the decade spanning 1991-2001.
