USC hosts spin-off conference
The Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (USC) recently hosted the 3rd International Spin-off and Venture Capital Conference. The conference focused on venture capital financing of technology companies, and covered a range of topics including proposed changes to the legal system to facilitate the creation of funds to invest in unlisted companies. Other subjects included investment decisions from the venture capital investor’s point of view, and the legal aspects of venture capital with specific regard to technological university spin-off companies.
