CVC and Inveralia plan to sell 70%
CVC Capital Partners and Inveralia are planning to sell 70% of the restaurant group Zena, one of the largest franchises in Spain, which includes chains like Foster's Hollywood Cañas y Tapas, Il Tempietto and Nostrus. The founding Bravo family holds the remaining 30%. The value of Zena is estimated to be between E200 and E300m and, according to press reports, both firms are looking to sell the company to another private equity buyer. CVC and Inveralia acquired a 70% stake in Zena in 2001 for approximately E162m.
