Palamon Capital Partners has announced the appointment of Dr Tom Sommerlatte to its board of advisors. Dr Sommerlatte previously worked in industry and management consultancy, and is now chairman of Arthur D. Little's management consulting activities in Germany and Austria. Before joining Arthur D. Little, he worked at a German research establishment developing IT-based knowledge management and artificial intelligence systems. Dr Sommerlatte holds a PhD in physical chemistry and chemical engineering from the University of Paris, an MBA from INSEAD and an Honorary Professorship for Systems Sciences from the University of Kassel, Germany. He serves on the advisory board of Lehman Brothers as well as on the boards of a number of medium-sized companies in the internet and media industries. He is the author of over 15 books on management.
