Investitori Associati back on fundraising trail
The Milan-based buyout firm Investitori Associati is currently raising its fourth fund, Investitori Associati IV, with a target of €600m. This represents the firm’s largest fundraising to date, and brings to four the number of Italian buyout funds who have been involved in fundraising this year. Clessidra is raising a €1bn fund and has just held a first close on its fund at €560m (Page 2). BS Private Equity recently closed its IPEF IV fund at €550m (October 2003, Page 5), and the Bulgari family’s firm Opera is attempting to raise €250m. No further information is available on Investitori Associati IV at the time of writing due to the confidentiality constraints surrounding fundraising.
