Cuatrecasas
Fernando Torrente is to rejoin Cuatrecasas as a partner next September. He will be accompanied by the lawyer, Juan Aguayo, who will also be reappointed as a partner, and a team of lawyers consisting of Javier Carvajal, Pedro Fernández, José Luis RodrÃguez and Coro Fernández-Rañada. Torrente and the other lawyers, all from the law firm Allen & Overy, will rejoin the Cuatrecasas corporate team in Madrid and strengthen the firm's position and weight in the legal market. This corporate team will have, after the new signings, seven partners and a total of 40 lawyers. Torrente, a graduate of law from the CEU-Universidad Complutense de Madrid, began his professional career at AB asesores in 1988, subsequently changing to Melchor de las Heras and from there to Cuatrecasas. After six years of professional practice, he moved to Allen & Overy in 2002, where he was in charge of the corporate department in Spain.
