ASCRI
The Spanish venture capital and private equity association ASCRI has named Jorge Mataix as its new president. The Nmás1 managing director will take over from Felipe Oriol, who held the post from April 2003 to the present date. Mataix will hold the presidency of ASCRI till 31 December 2004. Mataix has worked at Nmás1 since 1992, and previously held various positions at JP Morgan and Grupo Acciona. The new vice-president will be José Tomás Moliner, managing director of Diana Capital. Between 1987 and 1999, Moliner worked for the BBV Group, in areas including capital markets, investor relations and corporate finance.
