Tlcom Capital Partners has announced the appointment of two new partners, Colin Watts and Giuseppe Curatolo. Watts and Curatolo established the European operations of Draper Fisher Jurveston ePlanet 18 months ago. Both have elected to resign from the US-based company in order to join Tlcom as general partners. While at DFJ ePlanet, Watts led both early and expansion stage investments in communication technology. Curatolo, a Stanford MBA, is a specialist in early stage investments for companies in Europe, the US and Israel. In his capacity as director at DFJ ePlanet, Curatoloclosed a number if investments in the wireless sector and was involved in developing the firm’s position in emerging technologies such as nanotechnology, bio-engineering and innovative applications of material sciences.
