Medcap Investimenti plans new fund
Medcap Investimenti is working towards the launch of its first closed-end fund, Fondo Rossini. The fund, which has been authorised by Bankitalia, will investment in small- to medium-sized companies with a turnover of between €1m and €10m. In terms of geographic focus, Fondo Rossini will concentrate on the central Italian regions of Abruzzo, Marche, Romagna and Umbria. According to Mario Pesaresi, vice president of Medcap, the area offers particularly good investment opportunities due to the high growth and export rates it enjoys, which are above the national average.
