Video: Private Equity Partners' Fabio Sattin
Amy King talks to Fabio Sattin, founder and chairman of Private Equity Partners, about why Italy has struggled to attract foreign investment.
The Italian economy has more in common with that of the UK than Greece, but is suffering an image problem. Sattin says it has a high rate of private savings, strong industrial base and did not have a property bubble in the boom years, though its public debt is high.
However, Italy's biggest problem is that it is not very good at promoting itself worldwide, something Sattin hopes to change.
