
Universidad de Valencia joins Uninvest
Uninvest SCR , the venture capital firm managed by the Universidad de Compostela, has a new member, in the shape of the University of Valencia. Other institutions which have expressed an interest in participating in the initiative are Santander Central Hispano, the Instituto de Crédito Oficial, the European Investment Fund and the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial. Uninvest will manage a fund called I+D Unifondo with an initial capital of e12m. The fund will invest in start-up and seed companies which spin out of universities' research centres.
