Clifford Chance

Clifford Chance in Madrid has appointed Javier García de Enterría to the position of partner. He will be advising on M&A and financing operations, particularly those with a cross jurisdictional dimension. Javier García de Enterría graduated in law from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1984 and obtained a Phd in law from Bologna University and an LLM from Harvard. He was the president of the commission of experts, appointed by the CNMV, for the white book on the reform of corporate finance law in Spain (1997-1998), and has been a member of the Spanish Government's consultative board on privatisations since its creation in 1996. He is the author of a wide range of academic publications on corporate and mercantile matters, including seven monographs.
