
UBS makes top European investment banking appointments
Jeff McDermott and Alex Wilmott-Sitwell have been appointed as co-heads of European investment banking at UBS. McDermott was previously based in New York as head of the global industrial group, whilst Wilmot-Sitwell was head of European client coverage. The new appointments see Chris Brodie, current head of European investment banking, become deputy chairman of the investment banking department, focusing on senior client coverage. McDermott and Wilmott-Sitwell will report to Ken Moelis and Robert Gillespie.
