The Milan office of Lehman Brothers has appointed Professor Franco Reviglio as senior advisor. In his new capacity, Reviglio will be responsible for advising on the development of the firm’s investment banking and corporate finance business in Europe and in Italy, as well as on its fixed income and equity business. He will also provide strategic advice on the firm’s overall business strategy in Europe, as well as further enhancing the coverage of Italian clients. Currently, he is chairman and managing director of Azienda Energetica Metropolitana Torino SpA and is also professor of financial science at the University of Turin. Past positions of note include spells as minister for finance, budget minister and senator. He has also held board memberships of the Technical Committee for Economic Programming and the International Monetary Fund.
