Techwald's SPAC Life Care Capital to trade on AIM Italia
Life Care Capital (LCC_, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) launched by VC house Techwald Holding alongside Italian entrepreneurs, will be listed on the AIM segment of the Italian stock exchange from 7 March.
Launched in February with a €100m target and a hard-cap set at €150m, LCC raised €140m and will invest in non-listed medium-sized Italian companies operating in the healthcare sector, with an EV between €150-500m.
LCC's founders invested €3m in the SPAC, which has now issued 14 million shares at a price of €10 each and 7 million warrants.
The SPAC's executive board comprises CEO Alessandra Gavirati, president Carlo Castellano, Techwald's founder Alessandro Piga, and entrepreneurs Luigi Sala, Jody Vender and Alberto Dalmasso.
Equita SIM acted as global coordinator and bookrunner. LCC was advised by law firm Gatti Pavesi Bianchi – Studio Legale Associato.
