Suma Capital appoints investment director
Spanish private equity firm Suma Capital has appointed Manuel Cebrian as investment director.
Cebrian will manage the firm's second growth fund, which focuses on buy-and-build opportunities in the lower mid-market.
The new hire joins from corporate finance advisory firm Montalban Atlas Capital, where he was associate director. Prior to that, he spent eight years as associate director at DC Advisory and was a strategic consultant at Boston Consulting Group.
Cebrian completed his MBA at Esade and UCLA.
Suma targets companies with a turnover of €10-50m seeking growth through internationalisation and consolidation. Its venture capital activity is focused on energy efficiency and smart cities.
