Doughty Hanson drops out of Seur bid
Doughty Hanson has withdrawn the preliminary offer it presented last summer for Spanish courier Seur. In July last year, Doughty presented a non-binding offer for the business that would have seen the investor acquire a 52% stake in the company in a deal valuing it at EUR1bn. The offer was deemed extremely high given market conditions and put a strain on incumbent backer Geopost, part of France's La Post group, which owns a 16% stake in Seur.
