SICOOP launches with EUR15.5m capital
New early-stage investor Sociedad de Inversion Cooperativa (SICOOP) has launched with EUR15.5m of capital. The new fund will be managed by ICF Holding and is supported by the Catalonian Government.
SICOOP will invest EUR300,000-1.5m per transaction and will not acquire more than 50% shareholdings in companies. It is supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya through its finance ministry, Caixa Catalunya, Caixa Manresa and Caixa Sabadell and the Grupo Clade cooperatives. Two French financial institutions have also committed to the fund - Credit Cooperatif bank and public company Esfin/Ides.
