GED Capital acquires a stake in Bio-Oils
GED Capital has acquired a share in Huelva-headquartered biodiesel company Bio-Oils.
The investment included a capital increase of €7m that will be used to improve and increase its production capability to 500,000 tonnes per year.
Established in 2005, Bio-Oils has been producing biodiesel since 2008. It is also considered one of the biggest biofuel manufacturers in Europe creating about 250,000 tonnes per year.
In addition to its production increase plans, the company intends to build a co-generation plant that will be both cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
