Vista, Carlyle prepare Orizonia IPO
Vista Capital and Carlyle, which own 36% and 55% respectively of online travel agency Orizonia, are preparing the company for a flotation. The build-up has resulted in a group which in 2007 reported a turnover of approximately EUR2.4bn, 13% higher than that of the previous year.
The Orizonia group is composed of various tour operators (Iberojet, Solplan, Viva Tours, Turavia y Condor Vacaciones); travel agencies (Viajes Iberia, Viajar.com y Rumbo); charter carrier Iberworld, air broker Aerobalear and Iberojet Cruceros.
