Miguel Rona joins Altamar as partner
Spanish private equity firm Grupo Altamar has appointed Miguel Rona as partner.
The new hire joins from Invesco Asset Management, where he spent 14 years – most recently as co-head of the business in continental Europe and Latin America. Prior to that, he was Iberia country manager and responsible for business development in Latin America.
Rona began his career at Procter & Gamble within the marketing department. He holds an MBO from Houston University.
Altamar makes direct and indirect investments in Spanish speaking countries. The firm has a team of 40 and more than $2bn in assets under management.
