HIG credit arm appoints director
WhiteHorse, the credit arm of HIG Capital, has appointed Guido Lorenzi as director in the Milan office.
The new hire joins from Banca IMI, where he spent three years as director. He worked with financial sponsors and corporates, and focused on origination, structuring and negotiation of European mid-market leveraged finance transactions.
Prior to that, he spent four years at Barclays, following a stint at Deutsche Bank.
WhiteHorse manages a $1bn European fund, which commits across the debt spectrum including senior debt, unitranche, mezzanine and preferred equity. The vehicle is focused on the mid-cap segment, where it supports companies with a turnover of at least €50m.
HIG launched its European credit arm in 2012.
