
New player Hatton joins Madrid scene
New spanish player Hatton Investment Management has opened up in Madrid. The firm will represent local and international venture capital firms interested in investing in the technology sector. Similarly the firm will offer its services to Spanish companies looking to invest in Portugal, Eastern Europe, the Middle East or Latin America as well as foreign firms seeking to enter the Spanish market. Technology Emerging Markets Fund I and Financial Investment Fund are among the funds managed which expect to raise EUR60m and EUR100m respectively.
The management team consists of five managing partners, Christian Barrios Marchant, Eduardo Valenzuela Goudie, Eugenio Martinez Jimenez, Luis Ignacio Echevarria, Roberto Duran de la Fuente. The team has accumulated experience in the management of high tech companies and multinationals as well as in business development and investment.
